Delete your NowSaid account
NowSaid by Startup Corners. How to delete your account and its data, what is deleted, and what is kept.
In the app
- Open NowSaid, open the menu and tap Account.
- Tap Delete my account.
- Type DELETE and tap Delete.
If you signed in with Google more than a few minutes ago, NowSaid asks you to sign in with Google again first. The account is deleted straight away, and the app carries on with a new anonymous account.
Without the app
Email privacy@nowsaid.example with the subject "Delete my account". So that we delete the right account, either:
- send it from the Google address you signed in to NowSaid with, or
- include your Account ID, shown in the app under Menu › Account.
We reply to confirm, and delete the account within 30 days of your request.
If you have uninstalled NowSaid and never signed in with Google, nothing links that account to you any more. Its daily usage is deleted after 35 days, and nothing else about you was stored.
What is deleted
- Your NowSaid account: its ID and, if you signed in with Google, the email address, name and photo stored with it.
- Whether the account had a paid tier.
- Its daily usage records.
What is kept
- Nothing about your conversations: NowSaid never stored them.
- Text already sent to Anthropic to write explanations is deleted by Anthropic within 30 days of being sent, or up to 2 years if it was flagged as breaking Anthropic's usage policies. It was never linked to your account.
- Crash reports, if you had turned them on, are deleted after 90 days.
- Security logs of IP addresses kept by Google and Railway expire on their own schedules.
- Deleted data can remain in Google's backups for up to 180 days before it is overwritten.
