Who publishes NowSaid

NowSaid is published by Startup Corners (registered name and address: to be confirmed). By using NowSaid you agree to these terms.

What NowSaid is

NowSaid listens to a conversation and explains it in everyday words, in English: unfamiliar terms and, if you ask for more help, key points, a running gist or a translation. It is an aid to understanding, nothing more.

What NowSaid is not

It is not advice. Explanations are written by an AI model and can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Do not rely on NowSaid for medical, legal, financial or any other professional decision. Speak to a qualified person.

It does not keep a record. Nothing is recorded or saved. If you need a record of a conversation, NowSaid cannot give you one.

Who can use it

You must be at least 13, and old enough where you live to agree to these terms.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for having the right to process the speech NowSaid hears. Laws on recording and processing conversations differ between places, and in many of them everyone taking part must agree. Tell the other people in the room.

You agree not to use NowSaid to process conversations you have no right to process, or to break any law that applies to you.

Free allowance

The free tier includes a number of listening minutes a day, shown in the app, which reset at midnight in your phone's time zone. We may change the allowance.

Plans and extra time

You can buy more listening time in the app, through Google Play. Google Play takes the payment, under its own terms.

Monthly plans give a number of listening hours each month, shown before you buy. A plan renews automatically every month until you cancel it in Google Play; cancelling stops the next renewal, and the hours already paid for last until the end of the period. Hours you do not use in a month do not carry over. Moving to a bigger plan replaces your plan at once and is charged in full, and Google Play credits what was left of the old one; moving to a smaller plan starts when your current plan renews.

Extra time is bought once and does not expire. Each day your free minutes are used first, then your plan's hours, then extra time.

Refunds are requested through Google Play. When a purchase is refunded, the time it added that you have not used is removed from your account.

If you delete your account, its unused time is deleted with it and is not refunded. Cancel an active plan in Google Play first; we also stop it from renewing when the account is deleted.

Availability

NowSaid depends on your phone's speech recognition, your network and third-party AI services. It may be unavailable or work less well at any time.

Liability

NowSaid is provided as is, without warranty. To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of it or from relying on an explanation it produced.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Using NowSaid after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of a country to be confirmed.
